Dr. Irene Visser is an assistant professor at the Department of Private and Notarial Law at the University of Groningen. She is an affiliated researcher at the EVICT project. Dr. Visser specializes in forbearance and mortgage enforcement proceedings by professional mortgage lenders of owner-occupied residencies. This research project is funded by the Sectorplan Rethinking Public Interests in Private Relationships.
